Question
Why are we drawn to the negative more than the positive?
Is it the darkness we want so we can rise up to appreciate the positive?
Answer
I do not believe that it is true that to appreciate the light one must experience the dark.brbrThe ego wants power and insistence on being quotrightquot in what ever form it can get it. The ego wants to fight and since most people follow the ego blindly and dont recognize that there is a greater part of them that is their truth, they do what the ego or lesser self tells them to. brbrAnyone who is drawn to negative wants power even if its a sort of benign power as one of the answers here shows someone posted quotWhy do you say we quot that even a passiveaggressive response is trying to quotoneupquot the asker which is a form of imagined power.brbrThose who react or are drawn to the negative feel powerless over something and they mistakenly believe that arguing a point, or making a statement that is less than loving, putting someone down, or just out to find the down side of things, is believing they are powerless over their life and live it that way. Not much fun.brbrWhen one knows their enormous personal quotpowerquot things dont appear negative but turn into opportunities.brbrNamaste
